Seneca Taekwondo & Martial Arts

Seneca Taekwondo & Martial Arts began at Seneca College in 1989. Since then, World Taekwondo and Martial Arts Grand Master, Alan Bastien has run programs for Seneca College, public school boards and several elite private schools including: Town Centre Private International Baccalaureate (IB) Schools, Crestwood Private School, Sidney Ledson, Laurel Academy & Queens Montessori School. Seneca Taekwondo has also been featured in martial arts books that are used in public schools worldwide. The organization’s After-School Programs are Fun and Safe for everybody. Our instructors are certified by the World Taekwondo Federation, the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program and the Canadian Emergency Medical Services First Responder Program. Parents have found that our Taekwondo Programs encourage children to concentrate more, which helps them to excel in other areas such as ACADEMICS ! The journey from White Belt to Black Belt is an adventure in self-discovery that will be remembered for a life-time. Students first learn how to practice martial arts safely. Then, students progress to more advanced skills and learn about the tenants of modesty, excellence, self-control. patience, honesty and indomitable spirit.
